Are you looking for a chance to travel the world, challenge your personal growth, and broadening your teaching skills, all with the support of a strong team of professional educators? As a part of the Educator Preparation Program at Iowa State University, this program is open to you!

Please check out the possibilities for ISU's International Student Teaching Program. You can learn more about the program using our overview handout. Our international sites have been selected to provide the best possible teaching and living experience. Should you choose to apply and interview for this unique program, you would NOT be teaching Americans in another country. You would teach local students -in English - with the exception of our Ecuador site where there is a rare opportunity to teaching in either English or Spanish. You would live locally and very likely pick up on some conversational skills in the local language, all during the last 8 weeks of your student teaching semester.
